Rangers set for Scottish revamp: The homegrown stars Derek McInnes could bring to Ibrox
Rangers have set out a mission to have more homegrown players under Derek McInnes next season, and that starts in the transfer market.
Though the Bears spent lots of money last summer and in the winter, the majority of talent brought to Ibrox was all from overseas.
Some have been a huge success, others have been failures, but the Gers plan on recruiting more players from home soil this summer.
The work started with Lawrence Shankland, who signed for the Light Blues before jetting off for the World Cup with Scotland, as the striker has already been tipped for the armband next season.
However, McInnes could target more Scots, as Ibrox News takes a look at those from home soil who have been linked with Rangers already.
Luke Graham, Angus Gunn and one more Scot linked to Rangers
Rangers have gone two for two with adding Scotsmen to Ibrox already this summer with Shankland and McInnes, and it's not expected to stop there.
Though the Bears are currently pushing on other fronts with players like Bryan Reynolds and Mikey Moore, they will still target a move for additional homegrown players.
Dundee FC's Luke Graham has been heavily linked with a move to the Gers this summer, and it's highly likely that he will find a new club soon.
Keith Jackson name-dropped Angus Gunn as someone Rangers could look to replace Jack Butland with while speaking on Daily Record's Hotline Live.
While speaking on The Scottish Sun's Go Ballistic podcast, Andy Devlin backed the Light Blues to try and sign Lewis Ferguson this summer, as the Bologna star's future remains uncertain after a stall in contract talks.
Any of the three would be interesting additions, and certainly ones who will already know how big Rangers are.
Which Scottish Gers stars could get a chance under McInnes?
McInnes could bring some of these names to Ibrox, but he already has a batch of homegrown players to pick from when he gets started at Auchenhowie.
Findlay Curtis will be an interesting talking point this summer after his impressive loan spell with Kilmarnock, as he may be given a chance to impress during pre-season.
Connor Barron was having a good campaign last season until a knee injury ruled him out until the final stages of the term where the midfield picture had changed under Danny Rohl.
He, alongside Bailey Rice, could be important figures under McInnes next season, as the latter just signed a new deal on Monday, squashing rumours of an exit this summer.
