Rangers respond to latest Nicolas Raskin bid on deadline day - here's what it'll take for exit
Rangers have rejected a new bid by Besiktas for midfielder Nicolas Raskin.
Besiktas had initially offered Rangers a loan-to-buy deal for Raskin, who started and completed 90 minutes of the 2-1 win at Falkirk on Wednesday night.
However, that offer was rejected by the Light Blues.
Now, with the Scottish transfer deadline just hours away, Besiktas have made a new offer that'll see them sign the 25-year-old Belgium international on a permanent basis.
Rangers are said to have kicked that offer into touch, too - but what will it take for the Glaswegians to sanction a deal?

What Rangers want to accept bid for Nicolas Raskin
Sky Sports reported on Thursday morning that the latest bid from Besiktas does not match Rangers' valuation of Raskin.
It is understood that the Gers want an "acceptable figure" for the ex-Standard Liege playmaker, who's now made 150 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish Premiership side.
Derek McInnes is hopeful that Raskin won't be going anywhere.
However, it seems that there is a point where Rangers would accept an offer for Raskin.
But how much are they looking for?
What Rangers value Raskin at
It's been previously reported that if Rangers were to sell Raskin, they would want a club-record fee for the midfielder.
That means anything north of the £20million they received when Calvin Bassey left Ibrox for Ajax in 2022.
However, timing is now an issue.
Unless there's an iron in the fire, the Gers would be in a franstic last-ditch bid to sign a replacement for Raskin as they only have until 5pm to sign new players.
As a result, the fee for Raskin might be drastically more than £20m, because Besiktas would also have to pay the Light Blues for the misfortune of going a midfielder down between now and January.
