Cameron Archer could become a Rangers target once again as he looks set to leave Southampton.

It has already been a summer of change at Ibrox, with Derek McInnes coming in to replace Danny Rohl.

Lawrence Shankland has also come in from Hearts in a positive attacking addition.

Further alterations in the forward line could also be utilised should the new manager look to do so.

It had once looked as if the former Aston Villa youngster would be on his way to Ibrox.

A January move edged close to being finalised, but ultimately collapsed due to the Saints being unable to find a suitable replacement.

Archer was hugely disappointed at the time and could finally get his wish just months later.

West Brom are clearly interested, but the potential of European football at Ibrox could be a draw.

If he is destined to leave Southampton, it would make total sense for the Light Blues to once again make their move.
