Several new players are now expected to move to Ibrox after Rangers secured the permanent transfer of Hamza Igamane, according to Football Scotland.

The club made an official announcement on 5 July that the 21-year-old has moved to Ibrox, becoming the sixth summer signing.

However, they do not plan on stopping there and there are expected to be a number of new players following him through the door.

Lawrence Shankland must be the next priority target for Rangers

Igamane is a promising addition but the club still needs a marquee striker signing to truly bolster their attack.

The young Moroccan talent brings potential and energy to the team, but he's not yet the established, prolific goal-scorer that Gers need to compete at the highest level.

Lawrence Shankland, a proven Scottish striker, could be the answer to Gers' striker woes.

The 28-year-old has consistently demonstrated his ability to find the back of the net, having scored 24 goals in 34 appearances for Hearts last season.

His experience in the Scottish Premiership, combined with his goal-scoring prowess, makes him an ideal candidate to lead their attack.

Moreover, Shankland's familiarity with Scottish football would allow him to quickly adapt to the Ibrox outfit's style of play and make an immediate impact.

His leadership qualities and work ethic would also make him a valuable asset in the dressing room.
