Mikey Moore may no longer be around at Rangers, but he revelled in Sunday's superb Old Firm win over Celtic.

Rangers produced a stellar display to thrash Celtic 3-0 at Ibrox in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup.

Derek McInnes' tenure had been given lift off with four successive league wins, but this cup victory was a cut above.

Dan Neil produced the performance of a captain with two goals, either side of Kevin Kelsy thumping home his first goal for the club.

The two sides will face off again next week, this time at Celtic Park in the league, but Rangers will revel in this triumph for a while longer yet.

A number of Gers players have posted messages on Instagram, as has former Tottenham Hotspur loanee Moore.

What did Mikey Moore post after Old Firm win?

Moore was a big hit during his season at Ibrox in 2025-26.

He scored seven goals and assisted three more in 33 Scottish Premiership outings, while also making a positive impact in the cup competitions.

Rangers fans dreamed of another return for this campaign, but he was instead loaned to Bundesliga side Cologne.

Moore clearly still follows Rangers results closely, though, as he shared Rangers' post of the result on his personal Instagram story.

He also added Union Jack flag and saluting emojis, which will go down well with the Gers faithful.

How is Moore getting on at Cologne?

Many were surprised Tottenham decided to loan Moore out again, rather than keep him on their books

That decision looks all the more bizarre considering they have yet to score in four Premier League games this season.

Moore has played twice for Cologne since arriving on loan late in the summer window.

He has yet to score or assist across those 119 minutes on the field, but the general consensus is that he is making a positive impact.

The 19-year-old is clearly a huge talent, though it is a shame he will now continue to blossom away from Ibrox.
