Kris Boyd will be 'astonished' as multiple Rangers exits on cards, Nicolas Raskin one of them

Kris Boyd doesn't see a future for Nicolas Raskin at Rangers this summer.

The Belgium international's exit feels inevitable after the Gers' investment in Dan Neil, Cammy Devlin and Vanja Dragojevic.

There's plenty of interest in the midfielder from top teams around Europe and the Light Blues could cash in on him soon.

Raskin isn't the only player whose future looks to be away from Ibrox as Derek McInnes puts plans in place for next season.

Boyd doesn't see a way for Raskin to stay at the Light Blues, especially after seeing multiple signings bolster the engine room.

The former Scotland international also wants others to leave, naming Djeidi Gassama directly.

Boyd wasn't pleased with the winger's performance against West Ham United in the friendly, suggesting he needs a fresh start elsewhere.

Speaking on Go Ballistic on 27 July, the ex-striker said, "I would be astonished if Raskin is a Rangers player next season. When you look at the money Rangers have spent and the areas they've spent it in, you're probably saying we need this money back in.

"There are a few others who need to go as well. Gassama, I looked at him, he's a pale shadow of the player he was at the start of last season as well."

Ibrox News have covered reports of Nedim Bajrami being unwanted at Rangers, with the Albania international part of the bomb squad.

The 27-year-old moved to the Gers with high expectations in 2024 but has failed to live up to them.

Bajrami may have a new lease of life at Ibrox after being relied on by McInnes during pre-season.
