Kosta Nedeljkovic's Rangers contract examined - here's what we know
Rangers are yet to see much of note from Aston Villa loanee Kosta Nedeljkovic so far.
The Serbia international came in through the door to add defensive depth to Derek McInnes' squad.
A deal was struck with Villa to bring the right-back on a season-long loan.
It hasn't been the greatest start to life at Ibrox as the 20-year-old has generally struggled for minutes.
He scored an own goal away to Falkirk on 2 September and hasn't featured for the Gers ever since.
Many questions surround Nedeljkovic right now, but what is his contract situation?
What is Kosta Nedeljkovic's Rangers wage?
The summer signing hasn't been helped by a recent spike in form for McInnes' side.
That has seen Dujon Sterling play a key role as his performances have been much improved.
It is for that reason that the Villa loanee has struggled to get any sort of consistency this campaign.
That doesn't change anything when it comes to his contract as the wage commitments remain the exact same.
It is unclear exactly how much he is paid, but reports suggest that he is being given £10,000-per-week.
That equates to a yearly salary in the region of £520,000 that the Ibrox club are likely to be covering.
That isn't too steep a fee, but that could change should he sign permanently.
How much could Rangers pay for Nedeljkovic?
There needs to be steep upturn in form if the Gers are going to sign the Serbian at the end of the season.
There would be little reason for a permanent deal at this stage, but things can change quickly in the world of football.
Should Nedeljkovic prove his worth, Rangers have the option to complete a transfer.
Reports detail that the G51 outfit have a £4million buy option for the defender.
That fee would be spread over the course of whatever contract he signs, with a four-year deal marking a £1m payment to Aston Villa per year.
The ball is now firmly in Nedeljkovic's court as he needs to prove his worth under McInnes moving forward.
If he can do that, the right-back could be remaining in Govan for the long-term.
Should that happen, the Gers could land themselves a bargain.
