Jack Butland's exit looks to be the first move of the Rangers goalkeeping revolution.

The 33-year-old is set to join Hull City in a £3million deal, with Ivor Pandur coming the other way for £6m.

Derek McInnes is clearly wielding his influence at Ibrox already and between the sticks is set for changes.

Butland has been criticised a lot while at Rangers, and some Gers supporters will be glad to see him depart.

It will be the end of an era, as the man who joined the Bears in 2023 from Crystal Palace leaves.

However, he is not the only goalkeeping figure leaving the Govan side to move to the Premier League.

Rangers coach set to join Butland in linking up with Premier League side

Sal Bibbo was hired as a goalkeeper coach last summer, but he is set to part ways with the Gers already.

Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack reported on Monday that he is going to join Coventry City.

That means that both figures are going to the English top-flight, although they will be with different teams.

The goalkeeping department is set to be torn apart and rebuilt by McInnes and his backroom staff.

What does Rangers goalkeeping situation look like now?

Given that they are spending such a significant amount on him, surely Pandur will be the number one.

He kept 14 clean sheets and conceded 65 goals in 48 matches for the Tigers last season, which inspires confidence that he can perform for the G51 side.

Liam Kelly is expected to be his back-up, after signing a new contract that will keep him with the Bears until 2028.

Third choice Kieran Wright announced his exit with his contract set to expire this summer, so they will be looking for a new number three.

Academy stars such as 20-year-old Mason Munn or 18-year-old Rydnn McGuire could be called upon to take the final spot in the squad if necessary.

No alternatives have been named as potential candidates to replace Bibbo when he departs, and links up with the Sky Blues for a new adventure.

The changes may benefit the Light Blues, but only time will tell what impact that they will have, and whether it will help them close the gap to Celtic and Hearts.
