Rangers could continue their busy summer by splashing out on a forward line refresh.

The Gers have already made nine signings at this stage of the window.

Daisuke Yokota is the latest to come through the door as Derek McInnes added a new wide option to his squad.

The Japanese attacker features off the right and will provide much needed forward threat in G51.

That was missing on opening night against Dundee United, as a draw has sparked the Light Blues into life.

Rangers aren't done with just Yokota as they could soon bring another two wide options in.

Rangers could sign both Derek McInnes winger targets

There has been a hope from the Ibrox faithful that new attacking options would come in before the end of the window.

Even with the addition of the winger from Hannover 96, there is still a hope that other fresh faces will come in.

McInnes suggested on Wednesday that he will be "delighted" if he can bring in any of the players he has his eye on in G51.

Wide forwards are seemingly on the shortlist with Couhaib Driouech and Fares Ghedjemis both linked with Govan moves this summer.

Many have speculated that the Gers will sign one or the other, but that may not be the case.

Daily Record journalist Andy Newport took to X on Wednesday to suggest that both could actually make their way to G51.

He said: "Fact Driouech and Ghedjemis operate on opposite wings suggests to me they want both. I might be wrong."

That would obviously represent a true statement of intent and a big spend from the Ibrox club as the duo could come in at well over £10million.

How much would Couhaib Driouech and Fares Ghedjemis cost?

There's no doubt that the double signing of this attacking duo would be exciting for McInnes' side.

Against Dundee United there was a distinct lack of quality that needed rectifying.

They haven't wasted any time in doing exactly that and could move to bring in two wingers.

Driouech would be the cheaper one of the two mentioned, but would still come in at £6m.

PSV have set that fee as their valuation and that looks likely to be met by the Govan club.

Fares Ghedjemis would be a slightly more expensive option as Italian outfit Frosinone want over £8m for his signature.

Should Newport get this one right and Rangers move for both, the double swoop could cost them upwards of £14m.

That would certainly mark a sizable spend for the Light Blues and carry the summer spend to over £30m with time to spare.
