Rangers now want Oguz Aydin as Ibrox transfer flurry on cards

Fenerbahce's Oguz Aydin has become another target for Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The Bears opened their Scottish Premiership season with a 1-1 draw against Dundee United on Friday.

Derek McInnes was far from happy at Tannadice, and made his feelings clear on his attacking options.

With more than one new face wanted in the final third, Aydin has become another target in Govan.

Daisuke Yokota is due in Glasgow to sign for Rangers on Tuesday, with Hannover 96 due around £3million.

But, there is plenty more money where that came from to spend.

What is latest on Oguz Aydin and Rangers?

This is a rumour that appears to have come out of nowhere.

Transfer speculation has gone crazy on 4 August, with several attackers appearing on the radar.

Mateo Moretto has now reported that Aydin is another target who could sign for the Light Blues.

The reliable Spanish journalist states that the Turkish winger, who shined at the World Cup, is wanted at Ibrox.

Feyenoord, Espanyol and Hamburg are all said to have an interest too, with the race wide open.

Could Rangers sign three new wingers?

With Yokota all-but-done, and Aydin a new target, there are still several links floating around.

Frosinone's Fares Ghedjemis is another target, and not only that, could become the marquee arrival of the entire summer.

Rangers are said to have had a bid of £8m rejected for the Algerian, with Celtic also putting less money on the table.

If Ghedjemis, Yokota and Aydin all arrived in Glasgow this summer, Rangers would be hugely upgraded.

Nedim Bajrami has already moved on, and he could be followed by Djeidi Gassama too - leaving only Findlay Curtis as a genuine wide option.

McInnes clearly wants more, and three new signings would give him serious options and depth in that area.

That's exactly what Rangers need moving forward, and it appears they are not stopping any time soon in the hunt for new signings.

Yokota will be done and signed within hours, but expect the hunt for Aydin and Ghedjemis to carry on for quite some time, yet.
