How much of Nedim Bajrami's wages will be covered after Rangers exit confirmed

Nedim Bajrami has officially completed his loan move from Rangers to Al-Taawoun.

The Albania international was surplus to requirements at Ibrox following the arrival of Derek McInnes.

The Gers have been busy adding to their squad during the close season, with eight new faces through the door already,

Daisuke Yokota is also reportedly set to make the move to Rangers from Hannover 96 in the coming days.

So it was inevitable that some players would need to move on to make space for the new faces.

Bajrami was always likely to be one of those players allowed to move on, and some more details have emerged about his exit.

How much of Nedim Bajrami's salary will be covered after Rangers loan exit?

News of Al-Taawoun's move for Rangers forward Bajrami became known last week.

Rangers Review confirmed their own reports from last week that it will be an initial loan deal.

The Gers are set to receive a loan fee for Bajrami, while there is a buy option of £2.5million included in the deal.

Interestingly, Al-Taawound will also cover the entirety of Bajrami's salary for the duration of his loan stint from Rangers.

That will be good news for McInnes, as it frees up wages to bring in new reinforcements for his squad.

Who else could leave Rangers this summer?

With so many players arriving at Ibrox during McInnes' rebuild, it stands to reason that others will leave before the Scottish Premiership's deadline.

Centre-back John Souttar is understood to not be in McInnes' plans going forward and has been told he can find a new club.

Rangers are looking pretty overstocked in central midield, and Nico Raskin could be sold if the Ger's valuation is met.

It is also not unfeasible that Connor Barron could depart given the wealth of options Rangers now have in the centre of the park.

There will still be more players coming in the door, with McInnes known to want at least two wingers.

After that, it will be a case of reassessing what is needed in terms of incomings and outgoing in the next few weeks.

But it promises to be a busy month to ensure the balance of Rangers' squad is right moving forward.
