Hearts raid Rangers talent as transfer frenzy continues, Ally McCoist messaged him
Derek McInnes has not let Hearts forget him in a hurry after being appointed by Rangers.
Tynecastle has been left in a constant stage of anger, despite Wouter Vrancken recently being appointed.
Lawrence Shankland was first to make the move to Ibrox from Edinburgh, signing days after the season finished for nothing.
Rangers weren't done there, though, and immediately moved for McInnes after Danny Rohl's exit to RB Salzburg.
And now, it's just got even worst for them with Cammy Devlin signing for the Bears only 24 hours after his Hearts exit was made official.
But, Hearts are set to get a little slice of payback on Rangers.
Hearts move for Carson McGauley
While nowhere near the same level, those at Tynecastle will just be relieved to see somebody move the other way.
It's not a straight transfer, but the young central defender has moved to Hearts after leaving Rangers a couple of days ago.
McGauley spent 10 years at Ibrox, rising through the ranks as a promising talent before moving on.
Hearts Insider reported the news on Instagram after a 2-1 friendly defeat against Livingston to kickstart their pre-season.
It's said that the defender was included on the bench, but didn't feature, with his name mistaken in the teamsheets.
After leaving Ibrox days ago, it hasn't taken him long to find a new club.
Ally McCoist is big fan of Carson McGauley
It's always a shame to see young talent move on.
Having said that, Rangers have done a cracking job at keeping their best prospects at Ibrox this summer, even with interest from England.
That isn't the case for McGauley.
When waving goodbye to Ibrox on social media in recent days, Ally McCoist was quick to react with his own message.
"Best of luck wee man," he wrote. "You go for it."
Rangers have absolutely ravaged Hearts with their brutal transfer business so far this summer, completely stripping their spine.
With that and further business to come, it's clear that those at Ibrox aren't predicted another year in third, instead they only want titles.
McGauley is a small consolation prize possibly, but Hearts fans still won't be happy with what's happened, and what's to come.
