Rangers are on the verge of completing another new transfer.

The Light Blues have already added several faces to their squad this summer, with the arrival of Mikey Moore serving as the latest.

However, those additions made little difference on the opening day of the league campaign, with Rangers forced to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw away to Motherwell.

The need for attacking reinforcements was evident after the game, and it seems as though a new arrival is imminent in Glasgow.

Oliver Antman arrival imminent at Rangers

The Gers have been working overtime over the past week to deliver on their promise to Martin, and it looks as though they are set to seal that with the signing of Oliver Antman.

The Go Ahead Eagles winger has agreed to join the Gers, in a deal rumoured to be worth around £3million.

It seems as though the deal may have already been finalised based on the comments of Go Ahead Eagles director, Marc van Hintum, who said via Voetbalprimeur (3 August): "We definitely want to add another right winger now that Antman has left."

It is claimed that the Light Blues are trying to close the deal officially in a "hurry" to ensure that he can feature in some of the upcoming Champions League games.

The Finnish international had an excellent season last time out in Holland, registering 22 goal contributions in 36 games across all competitions, 16 of which were assists.

Rangers have often lacked that creative flair, and the hope will be that the imminent arrival of Antman can remedy those concerns.

Who is Antman, and how will he transform Rangers?

At 23 years old, Antman still has years of development ahead of him, having already showcased that he has the ability to change things at Ibrox.

His direct style of play and creative spark will unlock defences and bring out the best of the forwards who have often been starved of service.

Once his arrival is confirmed, it remains to be seen whether Rangers will be in the market for more attacking reinforcements.
