Rangers are hoping to re-sign Mikey Moore from Tottenham Hotspur, even after a change of manager.

The Bears replaced Danny Rohl with Derek McInnes, but their transfer plans remain largely the same.

This consists of an attempt to bring Moore back to Ibrox after a successful loan stay from Tottenham last campaign.

There has been uncertainty around the future of the 18-year-old, particularly due to Spurs' anxious end to the season.

The Lilywhites survived Premier League relegation on the final day of the season, which boosted the Gers' chance of re-signing their top prospect.

Now, Rangers and McInnes have been directly informed of information regarding a possible move for Moore this summer.

Rangers told Mikey Moore in line for another loan, but no sale wanted

Rangers have been told that Moore is in line for another season-long loan next campaign, and they will look to put themselves at the front of the queue.

That's according to the Daily Record, who report that McInnes has been informed that the teenager is set to be available once again this summer.

However, it's said that Tottenham will not sell their potential superstar this summer, even if he commanded a "mammoth" transfer fee.

The Bears will have assessed a permanent move for the Englishman, but suggestions are that they would take him back at Ibrox on whatever basis next season.

Rangers would have been priced out of permanent Moore switch

Andrew Cavenagh wasn't lying when he said Rangers were in for a "summer of change", though things may not have gone as planned so far.

The arrival of McInnes does slightly shake things up, but what could really change the picture at Ibrox is if Nicolas Raskin and Youssef Chermiti are sold.

Perhaps the only way that the Light Blues would have been able to afford a permanent move for Moore is if they splashed the majority of the money funded by the possible exits of Chermiti and Raskin.

Even then, that would be too much for a player who is yet to reach his best levels and still has plenty of room for growth.

Either way, the left-winger has one season of experience under his belt at Ibrox, and given that he gets what it means to play for Rangers, having him back in any capacity would be a huge boost.
