Couhaib Driouech has now spoken about his potential move to Rangers.

The Gers have agreed a £7million deal to sign the winger from PSV Eindhoven.

Reports suggested that he was set for a medical on Tuesday and it seems like that is the case.

The 24-year-old has been spotted in Amsterdam's Schiphol airport ahead of a proposed medical.

As he was waiting for his flight to complete the formalities, he revealed what he has heard about the fans.

It will surely provide them with further encouragement about the potential addition to Derek McInnes' side.

What did Couhaib Driouech say about Rangers switch?

Driouech has broken his silence on what he expects to find when he signs as a Bears player.

Soccernews NL journalist Mounir Boualin shared a video of a conversation with the player in the airport, as he prepared to catch his flight to Glasgow.

Speaking to the reporter, he said: "I'm looking forward to the medical examination and hope everything goes well, so I can put my signature on the dotted line."

"I've heard really good stories about the Rangers supporters. I'm looking forward to experiencing the fans in the stadium."

The fanbase at Ibrox will be excited to see him in action, and show him exactly how vociferous the support can be.

Hopefully, he will pass the medical with flying colours and be able to show them what he can do in no time.

What's next for Rangers after Driouech capture?

Driouech is not expected to be the only addition in Govan in the coming weeks, as they have several weakness within the squad.

They are also looking for additions in defence, with Aston Villa's Kosta Nedeljkovic and James Penrice linked with moves to G51.

The backline definitely needs reinforcements after a miserable start to the campaign, where the Gers have conceded five times in three matches.

The forward line may also need addressing, as Youssef Chermiti has now been ruled out for a long period with an ACL issue after he was forced off against Hibernian.

The 49ers Enterprises group and Andrew Cavenagh, the majority owners, must put McInnes in a position where he can compete with Celtic and Hearts, and make the Bears challenge again.

They are already five points behind the former in the Scottish Premiership, and that could only increase if they do not get the right business done.

It will be a crucial few weeks for the Auchenhowie side, and will test the ownership's true level of ambition.
