Another Rangers winger could follow Oliver Antman to exit very soon

Oliver Antman is on the verge of leaving Rangers after only one season.

The Finland international arrived at Ibrox with high hopes from GA Eagles, but it never worked out for the winger.

Starting under Russell Martin and finishing the campaign with Danny Rohl, Antman never really played to his full potential.

And now his third manager, Derek McInnes, has told him that he has no future in Glasgow.

Antman would argue that he never really got the chance, but when he was on the pitch, he very rarely delivered in any competition.

Rangers aren't done there, either.

Rangers ready to clear out at Ibrox

Ibrox News has covered information that Rangers will sell Antman for £4.5million and actually earn a profit.

Ross McCausland is said to be another one likely heading for the exit, with Luton Town a new possible destination.

Currently in League One after suffering consecutive relegations from the Premier League, all eyes are on the climb back up.

It's not known whether that would be on loan or a permanent move, but the latter would suit all parties perfectly.

After failing to really make a name for himself under Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson, McCausland wasn't cut out for Ibrox.

Everyone will want to avoid a cycle where the Northern Ireland international just returns to Auchenhowie every year and then go back out on loan.

After a spell at Aris Limassol last season, it's best if his next move was a permanent exit.

Casa Pia in Portugal have looked into a permanent move for McCausland, so Luton may need to challenge that security in any deal if they're to be successful.

With only one year left on his deal in Govan, Rangers would only hurt themselves if they sanction a loan move now.

That would take him to free agency, so it's all about just banking some sort of fee that keeps them and the player happy.

Rangers start the season at Tannadice against Dundee United on Friday evening, and it's safe to say that McCausland, nor Antman, will be present with McInnes' squad.
