Why Minsu Kim is certain to start for Rangers vs Kilmarnock despite international travel
Minsu Kim has travelled more than most at Rangers during the international break.
It has been a break that has taken most of the squad far and wide around the world during the three weeks.
Minsu was mainly in South Korea, while Emmanuel Fernandez ended up in Russia and Kevin Kelsy was also in Asia.
Alongside those, Derek McInnes also had Olwethu Makhanya and Djeidi Gassama in Africa.
But, the return of the Scottish Premiership waits for nobody.
Minsu has been a mainstay since signing from Girona, and he looks set to continue that run against Kilmarnock.
Why will Minsu Kim start vs Killie?
Despite travelling thousands of miles, and likely being set to return as early as Wednesday, he's ready.
At only 20-years-old, Kim has shown experience beyond his years already and has that eagerness to make a real difference.
Writing for the Rangers Review, Chris Jack now believes it is "certain" that he starts against Kilmarnock on 10 October.
Despite three appearances for his country, the winger was left out completely on Tuesday.
South Korea beat Uzbekistan 2-0, with Minsu rested ahead of his long journey back to Glasgow.
That's only set to benefit McInnes and the Bears.
Could there be any surprise changes?
McInnes has finally found his preferred side and system at Ibrox, and it's paid off massively.
Six consecutive wins and five clean sheets took Rangers into the extended break, which came at a bad time.
It leaves them two games from the Premier Sports Cup and only two points behind a collapsing Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
Nobody would have believed that could happen two months ago, but they've bounced back perfectly, as shown by those two Old Firm wins.
From the consistent starting XI, Ivor Pandur, Makhanya, Fernandez, Nico Raskin, Gassama, Kim, Ryan Naderi and Kelsy all played for their countries.
Thankfully, none of them played the entirety of the four games.
So, if there's no trouble with travel or fatigue following that in these next couple of days, it should be business as usual for the Gers.
That certainly includes Kim causing havoc off the wing, so beware Killie.
