Tim Sherwood says what Kevin Kelsy should have done after Rangers controversy
Kevin Kelsy remains the talk of the town after Rangers latest win against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
The Venezuelan international scored again as the Bears raced to a 3-1 victory at Ibrox Stadium.
It sent Rangers top of the Scottish Premiership for 24 hours, until Celtic fought back with a win at Motherwell.
Depsite their seventh win in a row in all competitions, there weren't many questions on the football for Derek McInnes.
Most revolved around whether or not Kelsy handled the ball before he slotted home his second goal in blue.
Tim Sherwood has watched it several times, and revealed a loophole around the incident, anyway.
What should Kevin Kelsy have done?
First of all, Kelsy did what all strikers should do, play to the whistle and not stop until the ball was in the back of the net.
Having watched several replays, you can't determine whether the ball actually did hit his hand or not,
Kelsy chests it down before falling into the ball and then gets back up to slot home via a deflection.
Speaking on Sky Sports' Ref Watch, Dermot Gallagher agreed, saying it has to be a goal as you have to be certain to disallow it and replays don't prove anything.
When passed to Sherwood, he believes Kelsy knows it his hand, but he could have stopped all debate anyway.
"The striker knows it's hit his hand," he said. "He should pass it."
When clarified, Gallagher agreed even if he did handle it, should he have passed, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
How has Kevin Kelsy started at Rangers?
It's been very indifferent, to put it lightly.
While his all-round game alongside Ryan Naderi has been fantastic, he's had plenty of chances to improve his return of two.
Naderi has somewhat stolen the spotlight alongside him, but as a pair, they are working fantastically well.
Physical on and off the ball, there hasn't been a single defence that can deal with them both.
That was proven against Celtic twice, where Kelsy scored one with a fantastic volley, but should have had more.
Add his gaping miss against Motherwell, and you know there's a striker there getting in the right positions every time.
So, it's only a matter of time before he explodes even further.
That's a warning to the rest of Scotland, with Kelsy and Naderi simply stepping over anybody infront of them right now.
