Tam McManus has high hopes for Rangers youngster Kyle Glasgow.

The 16-year-old is currently on loan at Alloa Athletic and bagged his fourth goal in Scottish League One after scoring against East Fife on 17 October.

In the 86th minute, the young attacker added a third for Andy Graham's team in their 3-0 win at Bayview Stadium.

Glasgow came in from the right-wing, played a one-two with his teammate, and curled his shot past Matthew Rollo from around 20 yards out.

The Kirkcaldy-born forward came up through the youth ranks at Auchenhowie and was sent to Alloa on loan as part of the co-operation deal signed in the summer to further his development.

Under Graham, the teenage talent is enjoying regular first-team action, starting 10 league matches for the Clackmannanshire club.

Everything Tam McManus said about Kyle Glasgow away from Rangers

Glasgow has shown immense potential at Rangers and his stint so far at Alloa shows he can make it to the top.

McManus watched the winger live as Alloa beat Fife and was left amazed by his abilities.

Not only did the youngster contribute up front, but he also put in a defensive shift for his team.

The environment and management at Indodrill Stadium seem like the perfect fit for Glasgow to keep on improving in the coming months.

Writing on X on 18 October, McManus said, "Was at this game on Saturday and this kid has everything to make it to the top.

"Wonderful natural ability but also worked for the team out of possession. I really enjoyed watching him; was a standout.

"He's getting a fabulous education out on loan at Alloa under big Andy Graham and his staff, who encouraged their team to play the whole game."

Kyle Glasgow has one path to follow at Ibrox

Glasgow is someone Rangers will want to look after carefully and ensure he stays on the right path in the coming years.

It's good to see the attacker thrive at Alloa and maybe next season the Gers may want to see how he handles the Scottish Championship.

Keeping the winger in the first team right now wouldn't make sense given the talent at Derek McInnes' disposal.

Findlay Curtis is a clear example for Glasgow to follow, with the Scotland international proving himself at Kilmarnock before cementing his place in the senior squad.

The teenage talent's performances at Alloa will be worth watching closely as the Govan side could have a gem on their hands.
