Rangers will be eager to pick up from where they left off when they host Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday.

Derek McInnes' side hit a superb rub of form prior to the three-week international break as they won six in a row in all competitions.

That includes a 1-0 win away at Celtic in the last game prior to the prolonged hiatus to close the gap on the leaders to two points.

Kilmarnock enter the game at Ibrox 13 points worse off than the Gers in bottom place.

Neil McCann's side did manage to pick up a bit of form before the break as they took four points off Hibernian and Hearts.

But does the supercomputer see any chance of an upset in Govan this weekend?

What is supercomputer predicting in Rangers vs Kilmarnock?

Rangers have a good record immediately after international breaks, with their only loss in the last five ironically coming at the hands of McInnes' Hearts last season.

This is understandably a match Rangers are strong favourites to win.

That is reflected by Opta Analyst's supercomputer as Rangers are given a 75 per cent likelihood of winning, compared to just 10.3 per cent for Killie.

The draw is therefore given a 14.7 per cent chance of happening this weekend.

Those are odds Rangers fans will certainly like, but you can never take anything for granted.

Where are Rangers projected to finish in Scottish Premiership?

Rangers' turnaround really has been impressive, with the gap on Celtic now just two points.

This could be another title race that goes all the way to the final day, albeit between two teams rather than three.

But Opta's supercomputer ultimately has Celtic coming out on top.

Martin O'Neill's side are given a 55 per cent chance of lifting the title again, compared to 40.11 per cent for Rangers to finish in first place and end this latest wait for title glory.

Time will tell on that front, and the momentum is certainly with Rangers as we gear up for the return of Scottish Premiership action.
