Ryan Naderi grabbed himself two more goals for Rangers in a 3-1 win against Kilmarnock on Saturday.

It's been quite the start to the season for the striker, who can do no wrong for the Light Blues.

The 23-year-old's early Ibrox form saw him earn a call-up to Czechia's national team after finalising the necessary legal documents to make an allegiance switch.

But the international break has clearly had no effect on Naderi's form for Rangers, as the hit-man bagged himself his fifth and sixth goals of the season against Kilmarnock.

The former Hansa Rostock star has taken some time to settle in after arriving in January, but it appears that Derek McInnes is getting the best out of him.

Now, Naderi is getting all the praise, with his hard work not going unnoticed either.

Gordon Dalziel heaps praise on Ryan Naderi after goals vs Kilmarnock

Naderi had lots of questions to answer this season after failing to impress in the Scottish Premiership last term.

His chances in Govan looked somewhat under threat after the arrival of Lawrence Shankland, but an injury to him and Youssef Chermiti has only helped his own quality shine through.

It will now be a question of whether Chermiti or Shankland can move Naderi out of the team with the way things are going, though some time remains before the pair are both fit to compete again.

While speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Gordon Dalziel shared his joy about Naderi's current form.

He said: "He doesn't score spectacular goals; let's be honest about that. I'm delighted he got his goals.

"As a manager, you're watching your centre-forward work the way this guy works; this guy's a team player and works very, very hard.

"I think he'd be quite happy to go out there, do his bit and give everybody a limelight. But the great thing for him, he's scoring goals. It's just confidence; he's a striker playing with bags of confidence."

Naderi has been described as that type of player who is not always easy on the eye, but is still effective.

Does it always need to be the "spectacular" from strikers? Clearly not.

McInnes has taken to the Czech Republic international, who keeps on proving the Gers boss right.

What did Derek McInnes say about Naderi after Kilmarnock?

McInnes has been open and honest about his admiration for Naderi, which will have only grown after the win against Killie.

The forward has started four of Rangers' eight Scottish Premiership games, though it looks like he'll be starting more regularly from now on.

Speaking after the Gers' win at the weekend, McInnes revealed his delight with Naderi for his efforts and goals.

He said: "It comes from a good place. He’s always such an honest boy; he’s willing to put defenders under pressure.

"I’ve always felt as a striker that if the ball goes in the box, he’ll score his goals. He’s not the type of striker that creates a lot for himself, so he needs that service."

The Rangers manager went on to say that everyone is pleased for him after his success with the Czech Republic, after managing to play against Spain and England.

Hopefully this is just the start for Naderi at Ibrox.
