Ryan Naderi can't seem to do anything wrong at Rangers right now.

After making his international debut for Czechia over the break against Spain and then England at Wembley, he was straight back in at Ibrox.

The Bears swept Kilmarnock aside 3-1 on 10 October to go top of the Scottish Premiership for the first time this season.

Naderi scored twice, either side of another Kevin Kelsy strike.

Derek McInnes continued with the same side that's delivered him recent success, and his strikers rewarded him.

And despite some luck, James McFadden was loving what he saw from Naderi, in particular.

Djeidi Gassama cut in off the right to curl a shot at goal, only for it to hit Naderi in the face and go in.

Speaking on BBC Sportscene, McFadden was loving footage of Naderi, especially from that second goal, that he believes was deliberate.

"These are the ones you'll probably enjoy more," he said. "You just put yourself in an area and it's the reaction."

In his role as host, Steven Thompson wasn't having it: "I don't think he's reacted, I think the balls hit him, he's tried to get out of the way of it, no?"

McFadden loved that, though, and continued to sign the praises of the towering Czechia forward.

"Whether it's lucky or not, that's what you want as a striker."

Ryan Naderi steps up when needed

Since signing from Hansa Rostock last January, it's been a journey to prove himself in Glasgow.

Moving from the third-tier of German football, there were questions.

It's safe to say that they've all been answered now, especially at the start of this season.

Naderi's most impressive quality isn't his goalscoring, which seems strange to say for a number nine.

His relentless work rate, pressing and pushing forward with possession is too much for most to handle, just look at Celtic before the break, they were out of ideas.

With Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti both injured long term, it's amazing to see Naderi and Kelsy find the back of the net consistently.

Whether he meant the second or not, Naderi will take it and claim his spot at top scorer in the Scottish Premiership.
