Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen have seen limited transfer activity at Rangers during the winter window so far.

Lille defender Rafael Fernandes has been the only incoming at Ibrox despite numerous exciting transfer links, though Robbie Fraser has joined Livingston on loan while Alex Lowry has left permanently.

While there are just seven days left until the winter transfer window slams shut, Clement might still be bracing himself for some more exits, such as sought-after Cyriel Dessers.

Cagliari are the latest team to join the race for the striker's signature [Corriere dello Sport], but having almost secured a point for the Gers against Manchester United, at least he is still giving his all for the club.

The same cannot be said for left-back Ridvan Yilmaz, who was spotted posting an image of himself in a cafe in Turkey just hours before the Light Blues' Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee United.

Ridvan Yilmaz closing in on Rangers exit?

With the 23-year-old pictured outside of the country, not even leaked by an external source, his absence has now been confirmed via the club's X account in the Gers' confirmed XI to face United on Sunday 26 January.

The Turkish international, albeit suffering a tough start to the campaign, has become an integral part of Clement's squad recently and his form has seen a huge spike.

Despite this, Ibrox News understands that selling the left-back is one of the priorities in this window, with the Light Blues looking to bank between £4.1million and £4.9million.

Jefte is more than capable of succeeding Yilmaz at left-back, which he has already proven since his summer move to Scotland, and the potential windfall could be really useful for the Light Blues.

It seems like just a matter of time before Yilmaz's exit is officially confirmed at Ibrox, and these two social media posts suggest that moment could be hours away.
