Rangers vs St Johnstone postponement latest as Met Office issues yellow weather warning
Rangers will be looking to immediately bounce back to winning ways against St Johnstone on Saturday.
The Bears were left disappointed as they threw away another three points in a 2-2 draw with Dundee last time out.
It leaves Derek McInnes and his men four points behind Celtic again in the Scottish Premiership.
Despite going 2-1 ahead, a Dan Neil mistake allowed the hosts to equalise and take a point away at Dens Park.
Now, it's all about returning to winning ways at Ibrox.
But, with Storm Austen set to hit the United Kingdom, should Rangers be worried about it?
Will Rangers vs St Johnstone be postponed?
Right now, that looks unlikely.
Storm Austen will hit Southern England and Wales hard overnight on Thursday, before making its way into the North Sea.
It's the aftermath of that which will hit Scotland, though.
BBC Weather state that a deep area of low pressure will then hit Scotland, causing winds of over 70mph in the west.
Resctrictions on bridges and other weather delays are expected on 24 October.
On top of that, the Met Office has now issued a yellow weather warning across Glasgow for rain on Friday and Saturday.
That warning should have cleared just before kick-off at Ibrox, with small flooding expected in surrounding areas.
Another tough test for Rangers?
In years gone by, consecutive games against Dundee and St Johnstone were great on paper.
But now, they're fourth and fifth, and both looking for top-six football.
Despite that, Rangers are still comfortably favourites, especially returning to Ibrox infront of their fans again.
Focus will quickly shift onto McInnes and his team selection, though, with Kevin Kelsy dropped at Dens Park.
Badredine Bouanani put in his best performance yet with that stunning goal, too, so the likes of Djeidi Gassama will be looking over their shoulders.
Minsu Kim was also taken off earlier at Dens Park after moving centrally again, so there are decisions to be made.
With the weather set to play a factor in the game, that added physicality in the final third could be smart.
All that matters right now are those three points.
