Dundee United duo Louis Moult and Ross Graham are at risk of missing the Rangers game, confirms manager Jim Goodwin.

The duo have been put on modified training routines behind the scenes at Tannadice in a bid to get them fit for the game.

Gers play host to Dundee United at Ibrox on Saturday, 23 November, once football resumes from the international break.

Goodwin said, via the Daily Record: "We’ve got Ross Graham and Louis Moult doing modified sessions this week, but I’d be reluctant to get any supporters’ hopes up and say they’ll definitely be available for the weekend.

"We are being tentative for the moment. However, they are making good progress. They are over the worst of it and hopefully won’t be too far away."

Philippe Clement has to ensure Rangers dominate and beat Dundee United

Even if Dundee United's Moult and Graham are fit for the upcoming match against Gers at Ibrox, the expectation will still heavily lean towards a victory for the hosts.

The pressure is on Philippe Clement to deliver not just a win, but a convincing one, given the resources at his disposal and the home advantage.

A failure to secure a comfortable win could lead to scrutiny of the Belgian's management, particularly his tactical setup and squad rotation.

Such a result would not only dent Rangers' campaign in the context of challenging for the title but also spark debates about the manager's future, especially considering the high expectations at Ibrox.

Recent performances and results have not reflected well on Clement and he knows he's under pressure to deliver.

A double-digit deficit between themselves and rivals Celtic may be enough for the board to act and sack the Belgian.
