Rangers could potentially change their approach against Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon.

Neil McCann's team will travel to Ibrox on 10 October to face an in-form Gers side.

The international break arguably came at the wrong time for the Light Blues, who beat Celtic consecutively in the Premier Sports Cup and Scottish Premiership.

Derek McInnes didn't make any changes in the two Old Firm derbies, but may have a rethink about Kim Minsu at Ibrox.

The South Korea international, who recently made his national team debut, has been a creative force for the Glaswegian outfit since signing from Girona.

It's clear the 20-year-old is a game-changer, and the Scottish manager could tweak his position to bring out his best.

Who Derek McInnes could drop from Rangers starting lineup vs Kilmarnock

McInnes would certainly be tempted not to make any changes after the way they performed against Celtic, but Kilmarnock represent a different challenge.

Killie surely won't want to come after the Gers and could just be happy to sit back and break on the counter.

McInnes could bring in Badredone Bouanani to the starting line-up, with the Algeria international capable of creating chances with his deadly left foot from the right.

That would see Kim move to a central position, likely playing behind the striker.

It could then be between Kevin Kelsy or Ryan Naderi getting the nod up front, but given the form the Czechia international has been in, he will surely be the preferred option.

McInnes could opt for the same defence despite Tuur Rommens returning from injury and the midfield partnership of Nicolas Raskin and Dan Neil has yielded plenty of positives at Ibrox.

The argument for Minsu Kim as number 10 at Ibrox

Kim was on the bench against Uzbekistan in South Korea's final friendly game of the international break.

The winger will arguably be fresher than some of the other players who have returned to Rangers.

Speaking about the young attacker this season, Aiden McGeady said, "I think Rangers will be alright because I see a difference with Kim, more energy. Kim is dynamic, gets on the ball, plays nice passes."

With Kim being right-footed, he seems to have more freedom to operate in central areas, where he looks deadly and has had the most impact.

On the right-wing, the South Korean ace is often forced out wide and he looks more effective in the number 10 role for the Govan side.

Rangers predicted XI vs Celtic: Pandur; Sterling, Makhanya, Fernandez, Penrice; Neil, Raskin; Bouanani, Kim, Gassama; Naderi.
