The Rangers midfielder pushed into the Red Devil's plans last season, and kept his place for the summer World Cup.
Not only did he feature regularly, but Raskin starred in North America.
It led many to believe that he would leave Rangers behind before the transfer deadline, but that never materialised.
Derek McInnes even left him out of several squads waiting for it, but now he's back and better than ever.
Raskin followed up two commanding performances over Celtic with another in a 2-0 win for the Belgians over Italy.

Plucked from Standard Liege to make the move to Ibrox, he's transformed himself into a real defensive maestro.
Starting alongside Youri Tielemans in Mark van Bommel's first game in charge, Raskin has kept his spot for two managers now.
With the likes of Kevin De Bruyne ahead of him too, the Rangers star is surrounding himself with the very best.
Taking to his personal Instagram account after the win, Raskin simply wrote: "A great night in Italy."
Minsu Kim called him "brother" in the comments, with Ivor Pandur sending a flexing arm emoji, too.
It only continues to prove just how close this Rangers dressing room already is with the new signings, better than the majority of squads in recent years.
Michael Beale was among those to like the images, too, with Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara also spotted.
Nicolas Raskin transfer drama will only continue
Surprisingly, transfer talk remained quiet around the midfielder.
Many were talking about bids needing to be above £20million to even start conversations, but they never came.
Besiktas were at the table late on, with some of their fans pleading with Raskin on this post, but their initial loan bid was thrown out.
Now, he's flying for club and country, and has two years left on his deal.
Raskin needs consistent football and success at Ibrox to keep his spot in the Belgium side, but he's doing more than enough.
That, alongside more club success with titles and cup will be the only things that attract serious big-money bids.
Rangers are favourites for the Premier Sports Cup after knocking out Celtic, and will return to Hampden next month for the semi-finals.
And the large early gap to their rivals has dropped to two points in the Scottish Premiership, with many making the Light Blues favourites.
