Rangers striker Ryan Naderi made his Czechia debut against Spain on Saturday.

The Gers forward's career landmark came at Estadio Municipal Carlos Tartiere in the Nations League on 3 October.

While the 23-year-old only recently joined his national team's training after paperwork delayed his arrival, Santi Denia wasn't afraid to use him.

Naderi replaced Lukas Ambros at around the hour mark as Czechia found themselves two goals behind against Spain.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring early on before Rodri doubled Luis De La Fuente's side's lead.

Mikel Merino then did what he does best coming off the bench, scoring in the final minutes of Spain's 3-0 win, but fans in G51 would still have loved to see the former Hansa Rostock ace get his first taste of international football.

Ryan Naderi game in numbers vs Spain

Naderi joined the Czechia setup hours before the England game on 29 September.

The centre-forward couldn't do much in his 33 minutes as Spain dominated possession.

When the Germany-born attacker did get the ball, he made sure to take it forward as much as he could, recording a total progression of 16.1 meters.

As per Sofascore, Naderi had 11 touches against Spain, attempted one dribble and was fouled once.

The attacker completed five of his seven passes, with his heatmap concentrated around the midfield.

Naderi did his defensive duties when called upon, registering one clearance, one ball recovery and winning one of his two ground duels.

The Czechia forward also won 100 per cent of his two aerial duels against the 2026 World Cup champions.

What future holds for Ryan Naderi at Ibrox

In the short term, it looks like Naderi has cemented his place in Derek McInnes' starting lineup.

Rangers were dominant against Celtic and the Czech forward's determination and work rate up front were essential to the Scottish manager's plans.

Naderi and Kevin Kelsy face little competition for their positions given Bojan Miovski continues to struggle on international break.

The ex-Hansa Rostock ace can certainly be part of the Gers' spine on the way to the William Hill Premiership title.

Less than a year ago, Naderi was playing in the third tier of German football and has now made his debut for Czechia.

If the striker continues his positive career trajectory, the Glaswegian outfit will surely make a hefty profit on the £4.7million they paid up front for him.
