Gabby Agbonlahor urges kids to learn from what 'outstanding' Rangers player did vs Celtic
Neil was the two-goal hero at Ibrox in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final triumph.
Kevin Kelsy scored the other for Rangers as they thumped Celtic 3-0 on home soil.
After a slow start to his career in Glasgow after arriving on a free contract from Sunderland, Neil has turned things around.
The 24-year-old, who is wearing the captain's armband in Lawrence Shankland's injury absence, scored a couple of impressive goals.
And former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor believes youngsters watching on can take inspiration from Neil.

Neil produced a superb all-round display against Celtic, but his two goals will be what grab the headlines.
The first goal to open the scoring, with 22 minutes on the clock, was a caressed finish into the bottom-left corner from about 20 yards out.
Neil's second, from an almost identical range at the other end of the field, was again passed into the back of the net - this time the top right.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Monday morning, Agbonlahor hailed what he saw from the Rangers midfielder.
"Dan Neil was outstanding," he said. "Two outstanding finishes from him. Any kids watching out there, you don't have to smash the ball.
"He side-footed it into the corners. I also really liked [Kevin Kelsy], and Emmanuel Fernandez at the back. I do think he can be a bit too casual."
Neil certainly revelled in his first Old Firm win after the game, and rightly so.

Neil became the 24th Rangers player ever to score his first goal for the club in this fixture.
Kelsy, who arrived later in the summer, did not have to wait long to become number 25.
Of those 25 players to have netted their first Rangers goal against Celtic, only two others previously went on to net a double.
And Neil admits he could not have picked a better moment to get off the mark for the Gers.
"It was unbelievable. It’s a bit of an adrenaline dump right now," he told Rangers TV.
"I need to give massive credit to all the lads. Everyone did their jobs to an absolute tee. The fans really were our 12th man today, and they helped us get that result.
“It was my first ever brace in my career. It was an unbelievable feeling scoring one, never mind the two."
Neil and Rangers now have a little under a week to prepare themselves for a trip to Celtic Park next weekend, this time with league points on the line.
Celtic will not be as bad as they were on Sunday, but there is no reason why Derek McInnes' men cannot come away with another win.
