Chris Sutton shares what he finds odd after what he's seen at Rangers this season
Chris Sutton has been speaking about Rangers again.
Rangers are on a five-match winning streak after building some momentum under Derek McInnes.
Since then, Celtic suffered another setback, losing 3-1 to LASK in the Europa League.
Rangers will look to pile on more misery in the second of an Old Firm double header in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead on Sunday.
Sutton has been giving his thoughts in the build-up to Sunday's eagerly awaited contest.
What has Chris Sutton said about Rangers and Derek McInnes now?
McInnes made a slow start to life as Rangers manager, with the Bears knocked out of qualifing in the Europa and Conference League.
But, the Gers have found their feet in recent weeks and put in their best performane of the campaign so far against Celtic.
Sutton, writing in the Daily Record, called Celtic "atrocious" in that game, and stated how the Gers were overrun in midfield.
He spoke more broadly about issues he sees with the squad, but also at boardroom level.
Unsurprisingly, though, he did have snide comment at Rangers, which given his Celtic affiliation is unsurprising.
Sutton wrote: "The odd thing is, I don’t think Derek’s team are wonderful.
"But last weekend, Rangers were way too powerful, too smart and too good for Martin’s side."

There's almost some faint praise in there, but really he is still digging out McInnes and the Gers.
Well, Rangers need to make sure that all their talking is done on the pitch because boy is there an opportunity here.
Celtic are wounded, but ultimately they still have a five-point lead at the top of the table.
If that becomes eight before we're even out of September then it becomes a hugely difficult task for McInnes' side.
Cut that gap to just two, though, and it is game on.
