Rangers, one of Scotland’s most storied clubs, boasts an illustrious history with 118 major trophies.
This feat makes them the second-most successful club in Scottish football and among the world’s elite.
Founded in 1872, Rangers have dominated domestically, winning a world-record 55 Scottish League titles, including their first shared title in 1890–91 and the most recent in 2020–21.
Here, Ibrox News runs you through all the silverware lifted by the Gers down the years.

However, despite success coming little and often in recent years due to the 2012 financial meltdown, only Northern Ireland’s Linfield (57) can boast more top-flight league title wins than Rangers (55).

2000 Scottish Cup final, Rangers v Aberdeen
Two minutes into the Scottish Cup final in 2000, Aberdeen’s goalkeeper Jim Leighton collided with Rangers’ Rod Wallace, fracturing his jaw and requiring stretcher removal.
Despite Leighton’s prior warning, manager Ebbe Skovdahl had not included a backup goalkeeper among the three substitutes.
Robbie Winters, a named substitute who had previously offered to play in goal if needed, replaced Leighton, wearing the oversized jersey of reserve goalkeeper Ryan Esson, who had changed into his suit after warming up Leighton and taken a seat in the stands.
In the 35th minute, Rangers took the lead when Giovanni van Bronckhorst scored from Jorg Albertz’s free kick past Winters.
Leading 1–0 at halftime, Rangers dominated the second half with goals from Tony Vidmar, Billy Dodds, and Albertz, securing a 4–0 victory.
This triumph marked Rangers’ 29th Scottish Cup win and made them the first club globally to reach 100 major trophies.
