Chris Jack of the Rangers Review does not believe new terms will be agreed, despite the goalkeeper openly admitting he would like to stay.

It is said that it would be no shock if Butland were to leave Ibrox this summer, with a decision needing to be made shortly.
Jack went on to share that Pierce Charles of Sheffield Wednesday is still of interest, but his value has increased since last summer’s push to sign him.

Rangers have already been linked with Anthony Patterson at Sunderland, but his £8million price tag ensures that won’t happen.
Charles is better in every department, too.
Having worked with Rohl at Sheffield Wednesday, the 20-year-old already has 10 senior international caps with Northern Ireland and can deal with expectation.
It’s been a horrible time at Hillsborough in recent years with their financial troubles, and dropping into League One won’t help them keep hold of players.
Charles will want more, and the chance to move to Ibrox and dislodge Butland and a goalkeeper’s spot that could be his for a decade or more is huge.
Rangers previously bid £1million for Charles, so any move this summer would likely cost more than that.
But, given the value of local talent in the United Kingdom, it could still be an absolute steal for someone who is marked for a huge future already in the game.
