Robbie Ure: Ex-Rangers talent set for UK return as summer transfer mooted – he’s just shown why
Robbie Ure is reportedly being eyed up by a host of European clubs, as the former Rangers academy graduate could be on his way back to the United Kingdom.
Joining Rangers as a youngster, Ure spent a number of years developing in Gers’ academy system.
A highly-rated forward, he penned a contract extension in the summer of 2021 to remain at Ibrox for a further two years, and would eventually make his first-team debut in August 2022.
However, he would only ever end up making two more competitive senior appearances for Gers before he rejected a new contract in May 2023, leaving as a free agent.
But, as this summer’s transfer window prepares to get under way for clubs across the continent, Ure may well be heading back to UK shores in the coming weeks.
