Rangers: Findlay Curtis exit talked up by Michael Stewart as Hearts in line to make huge profit
Rangers ace Findlay Curtis is a player Hearts should be looking to poach this summer, according to Michael Stewart.
Curtis is part of Scotland’s World Cup squad for this summer’s tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
That is despite a lack of playing time at Rangers in the first half of last season, resulting in the youngster spending the second half of the season at Kilmarnock.
Steve Clarke praised Curtis for his decision to leave Ibrox on loan, with his strong end to the season with Killie landing him a place on the plane with Scotland.
And as Rangers close in on the signing of Lawrence Shankland, Stewart has urged Hearts to consider bringing a player the opposite way.

Rangers have decision to make on Findlay Curtis
Curtis notched five goals and an assist in 14 matches for Kilmarnock, showing exactly why Rangers fans were so excited about his potential.
Despite still being just 19, Curtis is now at a stage where he is very much first-team ready – even more so if he features for Scotland this summer.
In fact, Rangers youngster Curtis could be on the radar of numerous clubs if he is to make an impression on the biggest stage of them all.
The decision the Gers have to make is whether to use the teenager regularly next season or get him out on loan again.
In the view of pundit Stewart, though, Hearts would be wise to put in a bid of some sort to test the waters over a permanent deal, which they would profit from down the line.
“If I was Hearts, they need to be at a stage where if Curtis isn’t going to be getting the game time that he needs or should get at Rangers, they should be going and making a bid,” he said on Premier Sports’ Scottish Football Social.

“Spend a little money and speculate because you know this guy is a difference maker. He’s top class and you would make that money back tenfold.”
There is no doubt that Curtis is only going to get better, but surely selling him this summer – especially to a likely title rival – is out of the question entirely.
Curtis contract situation complicates matters
All that said, Curtis only has another 12 months to run on his current contract at Ibrox.
He is therefore able to discuss a free transfer with other teams from January if a new deal is not in place.

Curtis will want to play football regularly, and he has shown enough to suggest he can do that with Rangers.
Three goals and two assists in 21 games last season was a decent return for a player of his age, which he built on in his time at Killie.
Rangers could do with discussing that new deal prior to the World Cup, otherwise Curtis’s contract situation will start to make those high up at Ibrox feel a little uncomfortable.
