Rangers are interested in Motherwell forward Elijah Just ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The New Zealand international is being eyed by the Gers and Celtic after a phenomenal season with the Steelmen.
It looks like Jens Berthel Askou, who has done amazing work at Fir Park, could be on his way to manage Toulouse in Ligue 1, leaving the Light Blues with a chance to possibly exploit the situation and convince some of the Motherwell players to leave.
Just has been linked with a move to Ibrox and his agent, Gustaf Grauers, has revealed that the 26-year-old will evaluate offers after the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to the Daily Record on 22 May, Grauers said, “Elijah has had a very strong season and really enjoyed his football at Motherwell, where everyone around the club has been excellent with him.
“There is interest from different clubs, as you would expect, but the focus now is fully on the World Cup and we will evaluate everything properly after the tournament.”
As per Transfermarkt, Just is currently valued at around £2.1million, which seems like a bargain for Motherwell’s supporters’ and players’ player of the year.

While the Steelmen would surely like to get upwards of £5m for the New Zealand ace who scored seven goals and provided seven assists in the William Hill Premiership, they may be hindered due to his contractual situation.
Nevertheless, the forward could possibly be in demand in the coming months, especially if he can showcase his talent on the international level at the World Cup.
The Glaswegian outfit should be ready to pay a premium for Just if they have any ambitions of landing the playmaker at Ibrox.

With the New Zealand international proving himself in his debut season in Scotland, the Govan side have every excuse to make him a priority target.
