Danny Rohl needs fast start next season after Rangers Fan Advisory Board verdict
Danny Rohl‘s future at Rangers is secure for the immediate future.
The board have reassured the German boss after doubts emerged over his position in the Ibrox dugout after a dismal run of results.
The Gers lost four of their five post-split fixtures, firmly dragging them out of Scottish Premiership title contention.
The fanbase clearly are not convinced though, with the Fan Advisory Board revealing their concerns over the boss to the heirachy.
Rangers need a fast start to the new season, if Rohl is to turn the supporters around and get them back onside before it is too late.

What happened at the Fan Advisory Board meeting?
The Rangers boss has found himself under increasing pressure at the moment, but he has been backed by the club for now.
The minutes of the meeting were released on 19 May, and supporters views on Rohl were revealed, with concerns including record against the big six and recent results.

The document stated: “The FAB raised supporter concerns regarding Danny Röhl following recent results andperformances.
“They noted that sentiment has deteriorated game by game and referred to the team’s record against top six opposition as a key concern.
“The club confirmed that no role at Rangers is without expectation but was clear that
Danny Rohl will be the head coach going into next season, with a belief that this gives the club the best chance of success.
“The club’s position is that he should be given a pre-season and a revamped squad, with changes both in and out.
“The FAB noted the club’s position that the head coach should receive a pre-season and an opportunity to change the playing staff but stressed that supporters need to see evidence of what has been learned and what will change next season.”
The fact that fans are willing to give Rohl a pre-season and an opportunity to sign players is encouraging, but the last sentence of that line about evidence of change is telling.
Why Rangers need a fast start next season
Rohl needs a fast start when the 2026-27 campaign kicks off, it is as simple as that.
He needs to give supporters a statement that his side are going to challenge for the title, otherwise, the pressure will rise very quickly.
It may become untenable in next to no time, if his side drop points in the opening stages of the campaign, and the 37-year-old may find himself out of a job.

Transfers will only help so much, they will get the fanbase excited, if they are the right sort of profile, but if results do not follow, the boss will be in danger.
The fans are nearly at the end of their tether, sick of the club being behind Celtic, and now Hearts, so there is only a matter of time before patience runs out and the support turns fully against the man in charge.
If that happens, the board will have no choice but to shift their position and sack the former Sheffield Wednesday man.
