Youssef Chermiti put in a world-class display against Falkirk on Saturday, which comes at a great time for Rangers with the summer window around the corner.

The 49ers are expected to conduct a “significant” overhaul in the upcoming transfer window, with incomings and outgoings very likely.

Chermiti has been one man who has been linked with a move away since the winter window, but after his display against Falkirk, some may have changed their mind on the striker.

The Bears can use that game as an example to lead off in negotiations, and it wouldn’t be a wild suggestion to start talks over a sale at £30m.

That would be clear of Rangers’ current record sale of Calvin Bassey, who joined Ajax for just under £20m.

Either way, with a full season under Chermiti’s belt, if Rangers do decide to keep him, they could have arguably the best number nine in the land next campaign.
