Rangers destined to repeat cycle of misery with Danny Rohl sack
Rangers boss Danny Rohl is under heavy scrutiny after a run of three straight losses.
Sack talk surrounding the German has increased massively after the 3-1 defeat against Celtic on 10 May, which saw the Gers lose three in a row for the first time since 2000.
That run has seen the Light Blues plummet out of Scottish Premiership title contention, and they are set for another trophyless season.
The 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh, the majority owners at Ibrox, need to carefully consider their decision, though.
Rangers could find themselves repeating the cycle of misery if they dismiss him from his post too soon and do not give him a chance to fix things.

What is Rangers’ cycle of misery?
Rangers have constantly sacked managers in recent years, which suggests that there is a wider problem at the club.
They hire a manager, expectations are placed too high, he is not backed enough, and then they are back to square one.

If they sack Rohl, they will be looking for a new manager, and the same thing will likely happen to them that has happened previously with the likes of Michael Beale and Philippe Clement.
Russell Martin’s reign is a bit of an outlier, for two reasons, because he was unpopular before he came in, and the new regime had only just taken over the reins.
Why Rohl deserves faith not sack talk
Rohl was 11 points behind Hearts when he took over, and he nearly took his side to the brink of the title, but ultimately, the squad was not strong enough.
There should be encouragement surrounding what he could do with a summer transfer window under his belt, with the full backing of the new ownership in the market, but that has evaporated.

Cavenagh and Co seem to be willing to spend to get the Bears back to where they belong, and with a squad that is up to scratch, there is no telling how far Rohl could take the Govan outfit.
Sack talk is very premature, and frankly, it is unfair to a manager who has won 21 of his 38 matches in the dugout, with a squad that is obviously not ready to challenge for the biggest honours.
