Rangers unseen moments vs Celtic: James Tavernier furious as Danny Rohl mocked by thousands
Celtic outclassed Rangers in the Old Firm clash, beating Danny Rohl‘s side 3-1 at Parkhead on Sunday.
Mikey Moore opened the scoring for the visitors in the ninth minute, before Yang Hyun-jun equalised after 23 minutes.
Daizen Maeda put the hosts ahead in the early stages of the second half, before he struck a sensational overhead kick to put the result beyond doubt.
The result puts the Gers firmly out of Scottish Premiership title contention and leaves the hosts right in the mix.
Rangers fans came away from the contest in utter disbelief, and Ibrox News noticed three moments you may have missed.
Sutton spots Tavernier fury as Rangers concede
There was controversy surrounding the Hoops’ equaliser against Rangers, and two of their players were in front of Jack Butland, in an offside position.
However, referee Nick Walsh decided that they were not interfering with play and awarded the goal, which prompted a furious response from James Tavernier.
Chris Sutton spotted his reaction, as he was still engaged in debate with the official after the goal was given, despite the controversy.
Speaking on Sky Sports (12:26 pm), he said: “James Tavernier is still arguing with Nick Walsh after the award of the goal.”
Danny Rohl mocked by Celtic fans
Celtic fans were heard singing Danny Rohl’s name in the 55th minute and after the final whistle, clearly mocking the Gers boss.
They were mocking the way that the German has taken his Gers side out of the title race in the last few weeks, with a dismal set of results.

It is surely the lowest point in his reign so far, and may even be a moment that he cannot survive, if the board decide to make a ruthless decision and bring someone else in.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Rohl, but it is not a good sign when your arch rivals’ supporters are singing your name.
Police presence spotted at Parkhead
There was a heavy police presence spotted for the contest, especially in the away section of the stadium.
A post from Wirral Ranger, who was attending the contest, showed a line of officers in front of the Gers support.
It was likely to stop them from invading the pitch, as Celtic supporters did in the Scottish Gas Cup clash at Ibrox last time.
