Rangers to receive immediate Ross McCausland offer after loan return

Rangers will have to welcome Ross McCausland back to Ibrox after his loan spell at Aris Limassol ends at the end of the season.

According to the Daily Record on 6 May, the Northern Ireland international has decided against a permanent transfer to the Greek side, where he has been playing with Leon Balogun and Connor Goldson.

The news outlet reports that, while Aris had an option to buy the 22-year-old after a set number of appearances, he and his camp asked to have it removed and informed them a few months ago that he would return to Ibrox.

As things stand, the winger will be back at the Glaswegian outfit soon, but they should expect immediate offers for him, with several clubs in England and Europe interested.

Danny Rohl may not want McCausland in his plans ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and it will be interesting to see whether the forward ends up next.

Rangers have massive task after summer loan returns

Apart from McCausland, a number of other Gers players could potentially be on their way back to Ibrox after their loan spells end.

The likes of Oscar Cortes and Jose Cifuentes are clearly unwanted at the Light Blues and will likely have to find new clubs again sooner rather than later.

Ben Davies, who will return to the Glaswegian outfit after suffering relegation with Oxford United, and Leon King, who has had an impressive season at Ayr United, see their contracts in Govan expire at the end of the season.

Danilo’s future also seems uncertain after his move to NEC Nijmegen in the winter transfer window and it remains to be seen whether the Dutch club will exercise the option to buy him after barely giving him any minutes.

Danny Rohl has no-brainer call with Findlay Curtis at Ibrox

Findlay Curtis should become a key Rangers star next season after impressing on loan at Kilmarnock under Neil McCann and Billy Dodds.

One of the biggest criticisms the Gers have faced after their 2-1 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle Park is the lack of Scottish personnel in their squad.

Curtis recently made his debut for the Scotland national side and it wouldn’t make sense for Rohl not to build the team around him as one of the talismanic players.

The upcoming transfer window will certainly be significant in taking the Glaswegian outfit back to the top and fans expect major changes in recruitment in G51.
