Tochi Chukwuani had his blushes spared at Rangers after missing a huge chance against Hearts.

With 45 minutes played, it’s so far so good for Rangers, who find themselves 1-0 up away at Tynecastle.

Dujon Sterling got himself on the scoresheet after 23 minutes, with the Light Blues having enjoyed their fair share of possession throughout that period, albeit without doing too much with it.

However, Chukwuani had a golden chance to give his side the lead, just minutes before Sterling achieved it.

And with so much on the line for Rangers against Hearts, it could still prove to be a huge moment.

Chukwuani is not in the Rangers team to offer much in the final third, though when a big chance comes to him, he has to be able to take it.

And he failed to do so after just 19 minutes, with his header from point-blank range somehow missing the target completely.

As per BBC, his effort had an xG of 0.6, showcasing just how big a chance it was that he failed to take, much to the shock of Ryan Stevenson via Sportsound.
