Danny Rohl issues positive Rangers update vs Hearts as Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi in training
Danny Rohl will have been sweating on the fitness of Rangers fullback Tuur Rommens ahead of a crunch title clash against Hearts.
The Gers are in must-win territory now after slipping up in a 3-2 defeat to Motherwell at Ibrox last weekend.
Rohl was without his trusted left-back, who has been incredibly key for the Bears since making his winter move in that fixture.
The 23-year-old has been unavailable for the last three matches, but before facing the Steelmen last week, Rohl provided a positive update insisting he expected him back for the Tynecastle showdown.
Ahead of Rangers’ clash versus Hearts, Rohl has not issued a further update as to whether Rommens is fit and ready to play.

Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi back in training ahead of Hearts’ fixture
The fitness of Rommens would have been on many Rangers fans’ minds as the match against the Jam Tarts could either keep or completely bow the Gers out of the title race.
Since arriving, the Belgian has undoubtedly been the number one left-back at Ibrox.

In his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Hearts, Rohl confirmed that Rommens has returned to training as the Bears prepare for Monday’s fixture.
It is a big boost for the Gers, who have desperately needed the left-back’s high-flying abilities down the flank.
However, the German also confirmed that Ryan Naderi has also returned to training, but in the case of the pair it is still a wait and see if they can play.
Rohl stated: “Tuur Rommens is back in training, as is Ryan Naderi, but we will see if they are both fit for Monday.”
If Rangers win at Tynecastle, then the returning Naderi would certainly add yet another string to the Govan-based club’s bow in their hunt for the title.
Nonetheless, the fact both are now in training is a positive for the Gers.
Tuur Rommens must play if fit
If Rommens is able to play, even just for 60 minutes, Rohl must make the decision to start him. Jayden Meghoma has not taken his chance amid the defender’s injury.
The Belgian has been instrumental to Rangers since making his winter switch, and the Gers have lost a spark without him down the left flank.

With just a few games to go this season, the Rangers manager cannot afford to take risks by not playing his best players.
There is still plenty of time to go before Monday’s fixture and for the defender to get back up to speed.
