Rangers monitor Amar Fatah as summer transfer chase expected at Ibrox
Rangers have been tipped to make a move for Dundee United forward Amar Fatah in the upcoming transfer window.
Peter Martin has heard that the Gers are “sniffing” around the 22-year-old, who is on season-long loan at Tannadice Park from Troyes.
The PLZ Soccer hosts expected the Light Blues to possibly consider signing the Sweden Under-21 international in the summer.
In the current campaign, Fatah has scored eight goals and provided three assists in the William Hill Premiership, and it isn’t surprising to see the Glaswegian outfit being linked with him.

Over the last few years, the Gers have been criticised for overlooking signing players who have proved themselves in Scotland.
Instead, the Light Blues have looked to foreign markets to bolster their ranks at Ibrox, but it has evidently backfired on most occasions, as evidenced by the lack of success in G51.
Fatah can play across the front line and could potentially be a direct replacement for Mikey Moore, who will return to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.

It will be interesting to see what sort of fee Troyes will ask for the winger’s exit after his impressive displays at Dundee United and the situation is one to keep an eye on.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer on 20 April, Martin said, “I expect Rangers to be sniffing about Fatah. Troyes is where he’s on loan from. I think they’ll be sniffing around him. I’ve heard that.”

Nedim Bajrami’s exit from Rangers feels inevitable in the summer, considering his diminishing role under Rohl.
The Albania international has hardly featured in the German manager’s plans at Ibrox and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him look for pastures new at the end of the season.
In the winter transfer window, there were already talks of the 27-year-old possibly looking for a way out after struggling for minutes at the Glaswegian outfit.
Players not wanted by Rohl at the Govan side should make way for more talented prospects like Fatah in the coming months and a deal for the Swedish winger feels like a no-brainer for them.
