Djeidi Gassama was seen getting carried away in Rangers‘ goal celebrations against Falkirk on Sunday, and it may have won back the love of every fan.
The Frenchman has had a turbulent first season at Ibrox, but he played a big part in the Bears’ comeback against Falkirk.
Danny Rohl‘s side ended the contest as winners after a dramatic 6-3 victory, as Gassama grabbed an assist to top off his good performance.
The winger was linked with a move to Villarreal in the January transfer window, and it’s something that split the opinion of Gers fans.
Gassama has had some bad games for Rangers, but his comical celebration against Falkirk may make people take a different perspective on the forward.

Djeidi Gassama has momentum to build off with supporters
Despite his assist, Chris Sutton believes Gassama shouldn’t play on the right, and while there are some strong points behind that, he got an important assist for Youssef Chermiti’s equaliser on the day.
He’s only scored two goals in the Scottish Premiership, and while he could offer more attacking output, his energy in the final third is unmatched.

Gassama was a livewire for the 85 minutes that he was on the field, and his setup for Chermiti’s equaliser was arguably the most important action of the match.
The leveller came right after the break, and from there, it only ever seemed like the Bears were going to walk away with the three points.
As captured by an X user, Gassama was seen doing a hilarious run towards the travelling Rangers fans after one of the second-half goals.
It’s been well received by Gers supporters, who will hopefully forgive Gassama for any of the stress he’s previously caused them.
What Oliver Antman did will be good for Gassama
Oliver Antman is another multi-million-pound summer signing who the Ibrox faithful have asked questions about.
The right-winger had been showing no real signs of promise before his injury, but he came off the bench to replace Gassama, before grabbing an assist of his own.
Antman is the competition that the 22-year-old needs, as so far, Andreas Skov Olsen has offered no threat.
Let’s hope the battle for a starting spot can improve all wide players with an important run-in coming up after the break.
