Bojan Miovksi boost arrives just in time for Rangers, but Danny Rohl must not take it for granted
Bojan Miovski was on the forefront of many Rangers fans’ minds when news of Ryan Naderi’s injury emerged, and against Falkirk, he proved why.
The North Macedonian has not often been trusted by Danny Rohl, but the German may now be forced to enlist the forward in his plans for the upcoming league split fixtures.
A huge upturn in goalscoring form has arrived at the right time for the Govan-based club, and Miovski has played a part in that over the last three games.
Rangers have scored 14 goals in that period, with the former Girona striker netting three of those.
Now, ahead of Rangers’ title run-in, Rohl may have been forced into a U-turn on his stance on Miovski’s involvement.

Why Bojan Miovski must be given bigger Rangers role for title run-in
Miovski has played 1231 minutes in the Scottish Premiership this season while producing eight goal contributions.
This leaves the 26-year-old with a goal or assist every 158 minutes this season. Other than Youssef Chermiti, who has been going under the radar, the North Macedonian impacts games more often than anyone else.
| Bojan Miovski at Rangers in SPFL 2025-2026 | Total |
| Expected goals | 5.92 |
| Goals scored | 7 |
| Goal conversion | 23% |
| Minutes per goal | 176 |
Additionally, considering that Miovski has only started 13 games this season, with an average of 47 minutes per appearance, it is remarkable that he ranks in the top five among the Rangers squad for goal involvements.
Miovski has been labelled as one of the Bears’ better goalscorers, and that was clear with him scoring two goals from an expected tally of 1.49 and an expected shots on target of 1.97 against Falkirk.
The difference in the figures shows that the Macedonian’s quality makes his chances higher value through his shot placement.
Rangers need that level of quality if they are to win the Scottish Premiership.

Danny Rohl has to trust Bojan Miovski now
If the forward’s performance off the bench on Sunday was not enough to convince Rohl he has a big part to play this season, it would seem he may never be able to change the German’s mind.
Over his last two games, both of which came off the bench, the 26-year-old has netted three goals.
Ahead of the split, his goalscoring exploits could not have arrived at a better time. Naderi’s injury is a major blow, and Rohl can now turn to Miovski to fill the void.
The Gers boss cannot take the North Macedonian for granted now and use him simply as an option off the bench. The case for Miovski to start has never been bigger.
