Tuur Rommens injury latest: Everything Rangers fans need to know about crushing left-back news
Rangers will be anxiously waiting for Tuur Rommens to return from injury.
Danny Rohl’s side could return to the top of the Scottish Premiership when they take on Falkirk on Sunday afternoon, depending on leaders Hearts’ result against Motherwell.
Just a point separates them from the summit, so it is crucial that they have as many players as possible fit and raring to go. Unfortunately, Rommens is not currently one of them.
The talented Belgian full-back is out with a muscle issue he sustained in training, and also missed out on the 4-2 victory against Dundee United at Ibrox last Saturday.
Rohl hopes Rommens “won’t be out too long”, but at least for the next match, Rangers will have to cope without him. They will also likely be without at least two more first-teamers.

Ryan Naderi not training after scan
It quickly became apparent that the mystery absentee referenced by Rohl before Saturday’s win was the 23-year-old, who now won’t return until after the split.
Rommens has made an impressive impact for Rangers since joining from Westerlo in the winter transfer window, making eight appearances to date.

| SFA Cup | 2 | 2 | 0 | 181 |
But he will be forced to sit out alongside Ryan Naderi, who is also expected to be missing. The striker picked up an injury against Dundee United and was taken off at half-time.
After the match, Rohl claimed that the setback had not been too serious, but the fact that he has not taken part in training with his team-mates suggests that may not be the case.
According to Read Rangers, the 22-year-old has been present at Rangers’ training ground and moving “unaided”, but his absence in sessions will deeply concern the head coach.

The club are still waiting for the results of his scans, which are expected soon.
Who else is injured for Rangers?
Youngster Bailey Rice remains out, having undergone surgery back in November.
The 19-year-old midfielder has not made a matchday squad since a 2-0 defeat by Roma in the Europa League, with his belated return expected in the middle of April.

Rice has been linked with a move away from Ibrox. His contract is set to run down at the end of the campaign, and a host of clubs have been tipped to snap him up.
While that may not appear to be a significant setback, the ace making just 16 appearances for the first-team in all competitions, he is undoubtedly talented and should stay.
