Rangers: Neil Warnock having a laugh after Bojan Miovski tipped as best Ibrox goalscorer
Rangers should rely on Bojan Miovski as their first-choice number nine for the final games of the season, Neil Warnock says.
The veteran English manager believes the North Macedonia international would give the Gers the best chance of scoring goals and potentially winning the league title.
Miovski’s future at Ibrox feels uncertain, with Danny Rohl preferring Ryan Naderi and Youssef Chermiti up top.
The ex-Girona ace had probably hoped to kickstart his career in Glasgow after his big move to Spain from the Dons failed to live up to expectations, but the 26-year-old has continued to struggle.
Miovski scored against Dundee United, but Rohl has seen nothing since arriving in Govan to suggest that the North Macedonian ace has the qualities to lead the line in the final stretch of the campaign.

Bojan Miovski more important than ever at Rangers
With Nadri possibly out for the rest of the season, Miovski could potentially have a major role to play at the Gers.
Warnock is surely having a laugh by suggesting the North Macedonia international is the best goalscorer at Rohl’s disposal, but his importance will arguably only increase post-split at Ibrox.
The striker has to prove himself to get a place back in the starting lineup, with others ahead of him in the pecking order.

Most supporters in Govan would still undoubtedly prefer to see Chermiti up top over Miovski, since the Portuguese centre-forward has proved himself in the big games.
Speaking to the Daily Record on 9 April, Warnock said, “But for me, I think he’s someone Rangers need to preserve with between now and the end of the season. I mean, the other strikers up there, they don’t bowl you over with their quality, do they? No.
“Compared to the other two Rangers have for, I’d say Bojan gives them the best chance of getting somebody to score the six, seven, eight goals they’ll need to get over the line.”
Danny Rohl may have other ideas at Ibrox
Chermiti is the leading goalscorer in the league for Rangers this season with nine, with Miovski scoring his fifth against Dundee United in the 4-2 victory.

It’s clear that the ex-Girona ace isn’t the best finisher at Ibrox, and while he might have better numbers than Naderi, the former Hansa Rostock centre-forward has brought much-needed physicality and work-rate to the Glaswegian outfit’s front line.
Instead of getting a chance playing alongside Chermiti amid the German striker’s fitness concerns, Miovski may still have to be content on the bench as Thelo Aasgaard has come into form and can play in the number 10 position.
The North Macedonian ace has not done enough to convince fans and Rohl alike that he’s capable of leading the line at Ibrox.
