Danny Rohl to convince Pierce Charles to sign for Rangers after what everyone has said
Danny Rohl could be enough to convince Pierce Charles to join Rangers this summer.
The Sheffield Wednesday sensation has been linked with a move to Ibrox for months now, with a deal already discussed during the winter window.
Charles didn’t make the move to Glasgow in the end, but that hasn’t stopped interest.
After shining for Northern Ireland on the international stage, as well as being the shining light at Hillsborough during their dismal season, it may be time to move on.
Jack Butland is currently the number one under Rohl, but Liam Kelly has given limited support or competition while the German has been in charge, with new transfers now on the cards.

Keith Wyness insists that Rohl could easily convince Charles to make the move north of the border, making a Rangers switch more likely at this stage.

Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, the former Aberdeen chief executive shared what everyone has told him about the young goalkeeper.
“I think that he could well be one,” Wyness said.
“Danny’s worked with him and seen him in action, probably in the youth teams at the time.
“So, yes, I think he’s got a great reputation, and everyone that I’ve spoken to thinks he is an up-and-comer for the goalkeeping position.
“I think it would do him good to have a move to Rangers.
“And so, yes, I think that Danny could be the one to actually convince him. And I’m pretty sure that when Rohl was at Sheff Wednesday, he would have been viewed as a very big positive and the players liked him.
“So I think that’s a big positive in terms of getting him across the line to Rangers.”

Butland has been sensational during his time in Govan, but there does come a time when you have to cut ties and move beyond that.
Along with some of his better moments this season, there have been several mistakes.
Rohl clearly knows Charles, and given his young age, combined with international experience, this is a goalkeeper who could grace Ibrox for the next decade easily.
With West Ham and Premier League sides sniffing around too, Rohl must move quickly to get this headline move over the line.
