Mikey Moore offers biggest hint yet Rangers stay is possible in ‘special’ admission
Mikey Moore may have just hinted that an extended stay at Rangers is on the horizon with the Tottenham loanee’s comments in a new interview.
Moore has been one of the Ibrox outfit’s best players this campaign, but with his deal only being a loan move, he is currently set to leave after this season.
Keeping the 18-year-old will be an important move for manager Danny Rohl, who has already made it publicly known he wants him to remain in Govan.
Much of that decision will depend on what the player and his parent club Tottenham wish to do in the summer.
However, the chance of another transfer to Rangers ahead of next season may be made easier with Moore’s latest admission.

What has Mikey Moore said about Rangers?
Rangers have clearly left a lasting impression on Moore throughout his loan, with the winger embedding perfectly into the culture of the Glaswegian side.
From the moment he joined, the winger looked at home and has embraced all and every expectation that has come from him.
| Mikey Moore in the SPFL | Total |
| Appearances | 26 |
| Goals/Assists | 6/2 |
| xG/xA | 4.25/3.03 |
| Big chances created | 6 |
| Key passes per game | 1.1 |
At 18 years old, the Spurs loanee has been full of confidence, often leading by example on the pitch even among more experienced teammates, despite his age.
Over on Rangers’ Instagram, they have shared snippets of a new interview with the Englishman, and his choice of words showcases just how much the youngster has loved his spell so far.
Moore stated: “It is a special place to play and live to be honest. I love living here as well, so it is a dream for me to play Rangers.”
The sentiment will of course be appreciated by supporters, but it could also be a hint to the future. Moore may not want to end his time yet at a club he believes is “special.”
Rangers may also hold a unique advantage in keeping Moore ahead of the upcoming summer window.
What are the chances of Rangers keeping Mikey Moore?
A permanent move for Mikey Moore may be out of the question with Tottenham likely to ask for a fee well above Rangers’ record signing.
The current record holder at Ibrox is Tore Andre Flo, who was purchased from Chelsea for £12million.
As it stands, according to CIES Observatory, Moore is worth around £21.7m to £25m, far exceeding the prices that the Glasgow side typically spends.

So with that in mind, another loan move would be the likely outcome, and as previously mentioned, that will come down to Spurs’ mindset.
However, with Moore loving life in Glasgow, he could push for his parent club to allow him to continue his development in G51 next season.
