Emmanuel Fernandez’s potential Rangers exit could hand further misery to Phillippe Clement.
Clement was sacked by the Ibrox club in February 2025, 13 months ago, after a dismal 2-0 home loss to St Mirren.
He has since taken over at English Championship side Norwich and has led them away from relegation danger.
Fernandez looks set to be sold for a hefty profit, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen reportedly chasing his signature.
Rangers could receive big offers for the recently capped Nigeria star, and it could leave Clement reeling as his new club could have been the one getting the windfall.
